Cancer Does Not Stop for a Pandemic
Cancer patients are among those at high risk of the coronavirus as their immune systems are already strained due to medications and their battle against cancer. The current health crisis creates even more challenges for cancer patients as they are immunocompromised, and have to enter hospitals for treatment, or even have treatments postponed.
The four stories (above) are stories of hope from survivors who are sharing their journey to let you know you are not alone in your cancer fight...and there is always hope as we support each other against illnesses that threaten the lives of our loved ones. Locally funded research is making a difference.
We're in the fight against pancreatic cancer together.
And we are in this pandemic fight together!
Stay Home. Stay Safe. Stay Well.
